What it does

Create QR codes for websites, text or Wi-Fi. Download PNG or SVG, with no account or redirect service.

How to use it

1. Choose a website URL, plain text or Wi-Fi network and generate the code. Websites need a full http:// or https:// address.
2. Codes directly contain your content and do not expire through this tool. Destination websites can still change or become unavailable.
3. Wi-Fi codes contain readable credentials. Keep them private if access is restricted. Verify with your phone before printing.

Methodology

The qrcode library encodes content locally with medium error correction and a four-module quiet zone.

Limitations

Maximum 1,500 UTF-8 bytes. Wi-Fi support varies by scanner; WPA/WPA2, WEP and open networks are offered. Dense codes need larger print sizes.
