Example

48 kHz, 5 kHz cutoff and 101 taps produce 50 samples or 1.0417 ms group delay.

Methodology

A Hamming-windowed sinc is normalized at DC; high-pass uses spectral inversion. A 513-point discrete response shows magnitude with a −120 dB floor.

Limitations

8–192 kHz sample rate, cutoff below Nyquist, 3–1,001 odd taps. Finite transition width and ripple remain. No audio playback, microphone or file processing.
