Poster and pattern tiler

What it does

Print one large image or PDF page across overlapping A4 or Letter sheets with trim marks and an assembly map.

How to use it

1. Choose artwork, target width, overlap and paper, then create a printable PDF.
2. Processing stays in your browser. No upload or sign-up.

Example

A 600 mm square image on A4 with 10 mm overlap spans four columns and three rows.

Methodology

pdf-lib embeds artwork at a physical millimetre scale and clips each overlapping tile inside 10 mm margins. An extra first page maps the assembly.

Limitations

20 MB source, 200 input PDF pages, 100 output artwork sheets and 50 MB output. PNG/JPEG or one unrotated PDF page. Target width 10–3,000 mm, height up to 6,000 mm. Print at Actual size/100%; test printer alignment. Paper and ink costs remain.
