Rehearsal teleprompter
Rehearse a scrolling script with cue markers, mirror mode and estimated reading time.
What it does
Rehearse a scrolling script with cue markers, mirror mode and estimated reading time.
How to use it
- Write a script with [[Cue name]] lines, set a reading rate and prepare; start scrolling or fullscreen when ready.
- Processing stays in your browser. No upload or sign-up.
Example
A 260-word script at 130 words per minute has an estimated reading time of two minutes.
Methodology
Whitespace-separated spoken words determine estimated duration. Cue timestamps count preceding words; animation frames scroll the rendered script.
Limitations
100,000 characters and 60–300 words per minute. Timing excludes pauses and cue labels; scrolling is approximate and depends on layout. Hidden tabs or window blur pause scrolling. No camera, microphone, account or recording.
Automation
This tool runs in your browser. No upload API or MCP endpoint is available.
