Tournament bracket maker

What it does

Seed entrants, handle byes and select winners in an exportable single-elimination bracket.

How to use it

1. Enter 2–64 unique entrants, one per line in seed order, up to 80 characters per name.
2. Create the bracket, then choose winners as matches finish. Strongest seeds should be listed first.
3. Download the printable SVG and fixture JSON. Open the SVG locally and print using Fit to page for your chosen paper size.

Example

Five seeded entrants produce an eight-slot bracket; the top three seeds receive first-round byes.

Methodology

The bracket expands to the next power of two, mirrors seed positions and advances byes automatically. Match winners feed the next round; changing a result clears later round choices.

Limitations

Single elimination only; no scores, double elimination, shared editing or saved tournaments. Printable SVG truncates long names while fixture JSON preserves them. Downloads capture the current state.
