ZIP creator & extractor

Bundle local files into a ZIP or inspect an archive and extract selected entries with explicit limits.

0 files · Up to 100 files / 50 MB combined

    What it does

Bundle local files into a ZIP or inspect an archive and extract selected entries with explicit limits.

    How to use it

    1. Create a ZIP from 1–100 files, up to 50 MB combined. Files are stored without compression and original bytes are retained.
    2. For extraction, open a ZIP, select entries and extract. Download each selected file individually; folder paths are displayed, but downloads use the final filename.
    3. ZIP input up to 50 MB; 100 entries; extracted files up to 20 MB each and 50 MB total; maximum 200:1 expansion. Processing stops after 15 seconds.

    Example

Bundle notes.txt and photo.jpg into files.zip, or open an archive and extract only notes.txt.

    Methodology

A worker validates the central directory, paths and local headers before extraction. Stored and deflate entries use bounded streaming output and CRC-32 verification.

    Limitations

No encrypted, ZIP64, multipart, symlink or nested extraction. Non-ASCII paths require UTF-8 encoding. Unsafe or duplicate paths and oversized archives are rejected. File contents are not scanned for malware.

    Automation

This tool runs in your browser. No upload API or MCP endpoint is available.
