What it does
Draw supplied guitar fingerings with custom tuning and export SVG or PNG diagrams.
How to use it
- Enter a chord label and six tuning notes from the lowest string to the highest.
- Supply six frets separated by spaces: x for muted, 0 for open and 1–24 for fretted strings. Optional fingers use 1–4, T or -.
- Choose Draw chord, then download SVG for scalable printing or a 300 × 350 PNG.
Example
C major in standard tuning uses frets x 3 2 0 1 0 and fingers - 3 2 - 1 -.
Methodology
The supplied six-string fingering determines open/muted markers, fret dots and finger labels in a five-fret SVG grid. The lowest played fret sets the visible starting fret. PNG is rasterised locally.
Limitations
Draws supplied fingerings without identifying or verifying chords. Six strings only, frets 0–24 within a five-fret span. Repeated fingers are separate dots, not barre lines.
