What it does
Extract PNG or JPEG stills at selected timestamps from a local video and download a timestamp manifest.
How to use it
- Choose an existing video and enter timestamps in seconds. Select PNG or JPEG.
- Extract, inspect and save individual frames plus the manifest. Cancel releases the video resource.
- Processing stays in your browser. No upload or sign-up.
Example
Enter 0, 1, 2 to request still images at the first three second marks of a video longer than two seconds.
Methodology
Browser video seeking and Canvas encoding produce local stills fitted within 1920 × 1080 pixels.
Limitations
100 MiB, finite duration up to one hour, 33 megapixel source and 20 frames. Browser codec support and seek accuracy vary. Two-minute job deadline; no frame-exact or transcoding guarantee.
Automation
This tool runs in your browser. No upload API or MCP endpoint is available.
